How to Create a Portfolio Template

Portfolio Templates are a feature in Abre that allows you to create pre-defined portfolio structures for students. This feature promotes consistency and guides students in creating portfolios, especially for specific purposes like Portrait of a Graduate portfolios.

Setting Up Portfolio Templates (For Staff)

Accessing Portfolio Settings and Creating Template

1. Log in to Abre and navigate to the People Settings page
2. Locate and click on the new "Portfolio Settings" card
3. Click on the "Templates" tab
4. Click the plus sign to create a new template
5. Enter a name for the template (e.g., "Student Council Presentation")
6. Choose the grades to align the template with
7. Upload a cover image for the template
8. Click "Save" to create the template

Using Portfolio Templates (For Students)

Accessing Templates and Creating Portfolio

1. Log in to Abre and navigate to your Portfolio page
2. View the available templates created by your district
3. Click on the desired template (e.g., "Student Council Presentation")
4. This action creates a new portfolio based on the selected template
5. From here, create a new artifact as usual
