What is SFTP?
SFTP, or Secure File Transfer Protocol, is a secure method for transferring data between systems, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of your information. SFTP is essential for maintaining the security of sensitive data.
SFTP Client Recommendation:
We recommend using CyberDuck as your SFTP client. This user-friendly tool simplifies the process of securely transferring your files.
Uploading Data
Prepare and organize your data files. Ensure the files are named appropriately and are free from errors. Abre currently supports a variety of 3rd party integrations. You can view a comprehensive list of supported integrations using the search bar the Data Center.
Connecting to SFTP Server:
- Open the SFTP client. Separately, open your Abre instance.
- Click Open Connection.
- Follow steps 1-6 in the screenshot below.
- Host, Username, and Password Credentials are found in the Data Center in your Abre Instance
- Connect to the server using the provided server address and credentials
Uploading Files
- Navigate to the desired directory.
- Select the files for upload.
- Drag and drop the files into the SFTP client or use the Action button, select Upload, and choose your file to upload.
