Custom Assessment Tags help you organize, analyze, and report on assessment data in a way that matches your district’s needs.
Use Assessment tags to:
- Group assessments by program, initiative, or reporting requirement
- Filter results in the Insights Assessment Dashboard using meaningful categories
- Keep assessment organization in Abre instead of tracking tags in spreadsheets
Create custom assessment tags (Tag Setup)
Create tags in Tag Setup with the tag type Assessment.
- In Abre, open Settings and click the tab for Custom Tags
- Create a new tag (+ button —> Add Custom Tag)
- Enter a clear tag name under Tag Code (up to 15 characters)
- (Optional) Add a tag description
- Set the tag type to Assessment
- Choose a tag color from the 16-color palette
- Save
If you are creating many tags at once, you can also use a CSV import to bulk create tags. Use the File Format Requirements to help format your CSV.
- Tag Code will be the name of your assessment tag.
- Under the “Tag Type” column, use Assessment as your tag type.
Apply tags to assessments
Add Assessment tags when creating or editing an assessment.
- Open the assessment you want to create or edit
- Locate the assessment meta-data fields
- Add one or more Assessment tags
- Save your changes
Once applied, tags can be used as filters in the Abre Assessment dashboard in Insights.
