Adding Questions from a Question Bank

Schools may decide to purchase question banks for Abre Assessments. Question banks are created by various vendors and can be easily integrated with our Assessments App.

Abre currently integrates with Instructure's Mastery Item Bank. The Mastery Item Bank includes 98K+ standards-based items in ELA, math, science, and social studies, and supports the needs of English language learners with 22K+ Spanish-translated items.

Note:

Adding Item Bank Questions to an Assessment

1. Create an assessment
2. Click "Find Items"
3. Select the Item Bank you want to use. The default is "Local Bank" (created by your school district). In this case, you'd select "Navigate Item Bank"
4. Search for questions you want to use. You can preview questions.
5. Add questions to the assessment.

A Note on Searching for Questions

You can search by standard, subject, tags, etc. The taxonomy of questions sometimes is a little confusing based on the company. With the Navigate Item Bank, you may want to try and search by the following tags:

• Subject: ELA
• Subject: SS
• Subject: SCI
• Subject: MATH
• Subject: HIST
