Editing Student Plans

Within the Abre Plans App, at the plan template (All Plans) level, there is a setting to expose options for editing when a plan is assigned to a student. This functionality allows Staff members who have not been granted Plans Administrator permissions to edit plan details for certain plans assigned to students. This allows certain plan templates to be recognized as always open for collaboration by staff, versus others where editing access should be restricted to Plans Administrators and key selected staff members. 

If a plan template is ‘Editable’ by staff, when a staff member accesses ‘Student Plans’ and selects an individual student, it allows the staff user to click into that plan, and edit based on the plan status. Only allow editing for plans that are in ‘Draft’ status.

Note: The ‘Editable’ toggle is only exposed on Plans that have been made available to ‘Students’ only. Plans available for staff are not able to be edited by other staff members and only by Plans administrators.
