An Overview

The Insights Dashboard Sharing feature enables precise control over dashboard access while promoting data-driven decision-making across your district. Share specific dashboards with individual staff members to ensure secure and targeted distribution of critical information.

How It Works

• Sharing Administrators can share individual dashboards with specific staff members. The data included on the dashboard will match the user’s rostered building(s) - assuming the dashboard has been built for School360.
• For dashboards built exclusively for District360, any user with shared access will see district-wide data. The Sharing Administrator will see an alert indicating when a dashboard is District360-only.
• Shared dashboards automatically appear in the users' Insights App aligned with the corresponding data category. The users do not need to have Insights access to have a dashboard shared.
• Permissions can be granted and revoked as needed

Workflow

1. Identify the dashboard you want to share
2. Click “Share” at the top of the dashboard
3. Use the check boxes to adjust General Viewing Access as necessary
4. Utilize the search bar to search the list of staff members who have been provided access
5. Share to specific staff members who need access by clicking the + icon
6. Click the trash can icon to deselect individuals as necessary
7. Recipients will automatically see the shared dashboard in the Insights data category.
