An Overview
The Insights Dashboard Sharing feature enables precise control over dashboard access while promoting data-driven decision-making across your district. Share specific dashboards with individual staff members to ensure secure and targeted distribution of critical information.
⚠️
Required Abre Permissions
Insights dashboard sharing requires the Insights Sharing Administrator permission. This permission provides access to all Insights dashboards.
Only individuals with a district email domain (for example, @schooldistrict.com) who can log into Abre can be selected as recipients for dashboard sharing.

How It Works
- Sharing Administrators can share individual Insights dashboards with specific staff members.
- For dashboards with a School360 version available, users aligned to one or more buildings will see only data for their aligned building(s) when viewing the dashboard.
- If a dashboard is shared with a user not aligned to a building, the dashboard will display district-level data.
- Dashboards built exclusively for District360 will always display district-wide data, regardless of user alignment. The Sharing Administrator will see an alert when a dashboard is District360-only.
- Shared dashboards automatically appear in the user’s Insights app, aligned with the appropriate data category. Users do not need Insights access for a dashboard to be shared.
- Sharing permissions can be granted and revoked as needed.
💡
Why do I see different data?
If an Insights dashboard includes a School360 version, building-aligned users will automatically see building-level data. District-level data is only shown when no building alignment exists for a user or when the dashboard is District360-only.
