What's New in Version 2022.06
Abre Notifications Upgrade - New Family Notification Types Now Available!
Extending our May release functionality, Abre is excited to announce two new notification types for family member users. In order to foster impactful communication from the district, family members can now opt-in to receive notifications around Partner Program Offerings, as well as when Behavior Incidents involving their student have been closed out.
- Upon logging into Abre, family users will now see two additional opt-in options for Abre Notifications.
- Partner Program Added - As new partner program offerings are added to your districts Abre instance, family members can receive notifications alerting them to the offering, the aligned partner, and follow the notification link to be directly sent to the Partner Program page within Abre for more information.
- Behavior Incident Closed - If your aligned student in Abre has been involved in a behavior incident, upon verification and closure of the event, receive a notification that the incident involving your student has been closed. Follow the link to your students Student360 to review incident details under the ‘Behavior’ tab.
Historical Behavior Incidents Visibility for Administrators
- Behavior Administrators, both at the district and building level have a critical role to play in understanding the Whole Child. In order to gain a full picture of how a student has been performing in school it's not always sufficient to see information relating to the current school year.
- In order to provide a full historical view, in an accessible and easy to understand way, Behavior Administrators can now see the past two years of behavior incidents within the Student360.
Wellness Advisee - Auto Student Group Creation
- Wellness Advisors play an essential role in helping to support, mentor and advise students on the best ways to manage their overall wellness. Wellness Advisors in Abre may be responsible for assisting multiple students, outside of their rostered classes.
- When students are aligned via the Wellness tab in the Student360, staff Wellness Advisors will now be a new student group automatically created and populated within the Abre Students app.
- The Wellness Advisee student group contains all students within the district that have been directly aligned to the staff member as their Wellness Advisor in the Student360.
