November 2022 Update
CompletedWhat’s New
Upgrade Google Analytics from V3 to V4.
- Enables backend support for Abre to utilize new functionality within Google Cloud console for enhanced analytics tracking for user interactions within the platform.
- Google Analytics will sunset V3 of their service in Summer 2023, and begin to exclusively support the use of Google Analytics V4.
- Abre is proactively preparing for this service switch by incorporating updates to our codebase to communicate with the upgraded service.
- GA4 allows for a refined way to manage, visualize and gain insight into usage rates of SaaS platforms - significantly simpler than GA3.
- Google Analytics defines user interactions as ‘Events’. Initially the transition to GA4 will track the same events as currently tracked using GA3. The full listing of events currently tracked can be found here: GA4 Event Tracking
- Feature and functionality development scoping and building will be expanded moving forward to include the development of additional event trackers upon release of new features (Ex: Wellness Check-In tracking if users click the toggle button for family visibility).
- New trackers will be added over time to support Product Intelligence, feedback and prioritization of feature requests.
Export button for incomplete course report.
- Abre Learn now supports an additional export option for administrators to view incompletion reports for individual learn courses.
- From the Abre Learn app, as a Learn Administrator:
- Access a Learn Course from the Courses page.
- Click the Enrollment tab.
- In the upper right corner, UI elements have been updated to include a vertical ellipsis button containing all available CSV exports (removed the ‘Download Completion Report’ dedicated button).
- Click the ellipsis button and select ‘Download Incompletion Report’
- Resulting .csv export contains the following fields for each user enrolled in the Learn course who has less than 100% completion:
- Course Name
- School Code
- ID (Staff or Student depending on course type)
- First Name
- Last Name
- Progress Percentage
- Note: The progress report download will contain the progress percentage for all users currently enrolled.
Stylized Email Notification (In Product Triggers).
- Emails delivered via the Abre Platform have now been stylized to reflect Abre branding guidelines.
- Does not apply to ‘Abre Notification’ emails.
- Stylized emails are delivered for the following interactions:
- Behavior (Creation, Update, Closure)
- Wellness Resource Deliver to Students
- Forms (Response Received)
- Learn (Comments Received)
- Payments (Payment Received)
- Partners (Responsible User Added)
- General (New User Account Requests)
Enhancements
Teacher Alias for Abre class name now shows in Students App Widget.
- When staff apply a custom name to a given Abre Class course, the Abre Student App widget on the Abre Hub will now display the custom name rather than defaulting to the SIS-integrated naming convention contained within Abre_Courses.
- From the Class App, as a staff user, click ‘Edit Courses’ in the top corner.
- Add a custom name to any of the courses currently rostered to the staff member.
- Click ‘Save’
- Return to the Abre Hub, open the Students App widget, and see the Custom Name (i.e. Alias) rendered in the Class listing.
Plans CSV export for students now has 2 additional columns "Current Grade" and "Current School" available in the CSV download.
- The Abre Plans app export now includes additional columns for Current Grade and Current School as part of the standard .csv file.
- As a Plans administrator, access the Reports tab within the Plans app.
- Under ‘Student Reports’ select your Level and Plan type.
- Select ‘Generate CSV Report’
- In the resulting export, note the inclusion of Current Grade and Current School alongside the standard identifying student information.
Additional options for Abre Color Picker (Abre Navy & Orange Brand Guidelines)
- The following Hex codes have been added to the color picker for Channel editing and Partner Program services settings for chip color.
- Abre Navy: E84545
- Abre Orange: 1B2B5C
Imported Grades Query Improvements
- Improvement to allow for imported information in the Abre_Grades table to be displayed within the Student360 under ‘Imported Grades’.
- Class and Teacher name are pulled directly from the Abre_Grades table rather than performing an SQL join to the student schedules table.
