A few things to keep in mind when it comes to translating Abre content. First, if a non-English speaker accesses Abre with their phone, they are likely to see Abre and its content translated in their native language. This is a setting on their phone.
Second, this sometimes doesn't capture "user generate" content (for example, the text written in a Student Plan). To fully translate items in Abre, we recommend using Google Translate.
For example, say I need to translate a 504 Plan. I would:
- Download the plan as a PDF
- Upload the plan to Google Translate: https://translate.google.com/?sl=auto&tl=en&op=docs
- Download the plan in the appropriate language
