The Staff Advisor is the individual responsible for reviewing the student artifacts submitted. The intent is for every student to have an advisor/mentor that can guide them with feedback. Staff Advisors are currently the same as a Wellness Advisor and the matching happens in the Student360.
There are two ways to align Staff Advisors to Students:
- Individual staff members have the ability to ‘Claim’ students within the Student360 by clicking the ‘Claim’ button under the Wellness tab.
- Wellness Administrators and System Administrators can align any student to any rostered staff member, and can navigate the drop down menu to select the appropriate staff member.
Best Practice
We strongly encourage schools to go with the first option and have the staff advisor CLAIM their students.
